More over, to ensure the proper comfort of your hips, the upper seat is mounted on a tilter (tilt adapter), thanks to which the seat adjusts to and follows the movement of your body. Dragonfly Comfort is a combination of a ball-chair and sitting on the floor. We consider it to be a perfect combination!
The upper seat tilts sideways only when rocking or changing position. The tilt mechanism is characterized by moderate stiffness, thanks to which you will always experience the full stability of the chair. For people weighing less than 50 kg, the feeling of tilting sideways is less noticeable due to the lower body pressure on the seat.

The ideal solution would be to maintain a desired and flexible body posture from an early age, which is why our chair is also recommended for children who have mastered the ability of sitting without a backrest attached to a swivel chair. The transition from a normal chair to the Dragonfly chair can take a while for adults to accustom to, as the body loses its flexibility and strength as a result of prolonged time spent utilizing a traditional chair. We are, however, of the opinion that the results are worth it, as frequent repositioning and active sitting in "low" positions can help maintain a healthy spine.
* Individuals with dysfunction/injury of the spine or lower body (pelvis, hips, lower limbs) should make sure that they can sit in the so-called "low" positions (consultation with a physiotherapist/ orthopedist is recommended).

1. The seats are upholstered with Barbaa fabric (flock type) which is characterised by its high fleshing, lightly mossy and very pleasant to touch fur-like structure. It is extremely dirt-resistant and a simple wipe with a damp cloth (preferably a wet baby wipe) will make it clean again. The fabric is extremely resistant to abrasion, sweat and light, and no harmful PFAS compounds are used in its production. This combination provides a safe surface suitable for the current stringent hygiene requirements.
The upper seat is fastened by mounting designed by our company, as well as a non-rotating gym and a tilt adapter manufactured in the European Union.
Both seats are regulated by two gas cylinders. Measured height adjustment range:
a) from the floor to the surface of the lower seat it is 36-42 cm;
b) from the surface of the lower to the upper seat it is 9.5-21 cm.

Usually, I don't write reviews - but if this helps someone else to have less pain at work - here it is: Short version: PRO: + super comfortable + pain in the hip is gone! + perfect for PC work where a stable hand is needed + looks amazing + adjustable height of the upper level platform + stable upper level platform, that slightly balances left to right if you shift your weight + can be used for hours without feeling pain + high-quality material + very friendly customer support! + huge amount of colors available to make the chair fit your home (check their instagram for ideas!) + chair color in my pictures is "steel" + fast delivery CON (not really): - needs a little time to get used to it - since there are so many nice colors available - it is a bit hard to choose! - my cat can not sleep on it :D Long version: I ordered this chair a few months ago. The delivery and assembly was fast and easy. Now I had two chairs, my old normal beloved office chair, and this new "active" dragonfly chair. My friend made jokes, like yeah now you have this new chair, but you are not using it! (He was right, I was still using my old chair and had this just standing at my other desk. Creature of habit!) But after another long project sitting on my old office chair for hours and hours it happened: I got some pain, this time not in my back, but in my hip. It was really bad. I looked over to the new unused dragonfly chair and then finally decided to switch and try to use it regularly. Best decision ever! Sitting on this new chair, the hip pain went away almost immediately! The dragonfly chair "forces" you to sit correctly and actively. And it is very comfortable. I have to add that I love sitting cross-legged. I did this on my old office chair, but constantly had marks on my legs from pushing against the armrests. This one has no armrests, so your legs will be positioned naturally. It is amazing. But one needs to get used to it. This is "active" sitting. The platforms: The chair has two platforms - the lower level is completely firm and stable (with soft padding like a normal chair) The upper "sitting" level is slightly flexible, almost unnoticeable. It shifts a tiny bit to the left and to the right, to support weight shifting, which feels very natural. It doesn't shift front to back, which is very good as it gives a stable and safe feeling. Before discovering this chair I was looking at other ergonomic chair options, like sitting balls and other flexible chairs. However, those designs always felt like too much shifting. It's a personal preference of course, but I don't want to exercise while sitting, I just need a chair to get some work done. I don't want to think about the chair while using it. And I can not have my arms moving and balancing while sitting as I need a stable position for my hand. ----------- Summary: As a graphic designer/artist, I am often sitting at the PC for long hours (which is a bit of an unhealthy situation as sitting is not good for you), but with this lovely chair, I have found a perfect solution to prevent any further damage to my back and hip.
